Round 3: and it's a first time appearance for Chilwell Manor, an established club which celebrated its centenery in 2006.
'It has forged a considerable reputation for itself as a warm and friendly place to take to enjoy a round, and the course itself is held in very high regard. Measuring 6395 yards from the tee on the first hole all the way to the pin on the eighteenth, it is a good length and you will come across plenty of hazards to excite and challenge your game. '

Plenty to 'excite' and 'challenge' for those thrill seekers looking to play some shots, with some water, a bit of sand with some undulating fairways and greens. Plenty of shorter Par 4's, to cash in on the shots, for the higher handicaps.
MEADOWS - the 14th green from the fairway. This is a 435 yards par 4 hole. Ladies - 392 yards, par 5. Another long hole (S.I.2) curving gently right. This features a long narrow green
sloping from front to back.
Will it be lucky for its namesake?
Another bumper turnout without all confirmations received. Seasons debuts for Hall, Hood and A.T. Jenko will be itching to go with three months gardening leave on the table, maybe a late dark horse for the title? Chilwell member and Keyworth United midfield playmaker, Bremner, makes his TGS debut along with Vin's partner in crime from the Alps, Duffin. Local celebrity, Horsburgh Snr, has cancelled a supermarket opening and returns to the fold along with the usual suspects of Tuckwell Jnr and Jnr Jnr, Horsburgh Jnr, Hefter, Radford, Meadows, Daft and Baker Snr and Dean.
