Sunday sees the return to Morley Hayes, and the Manor Course, after a year absence.

'This superb 18 hole, Championship length, par 72 course will continue to challenge even the most experienced golfer. It has been designed with tees of blue (6953 yards), white (6744 yards), yellow (6482 yards) and red (5902 yards). Morley Hayes offers the ultimate golfing experience, with excellent facilities for a complete 'get away from it all' package. Our location, sitting equidistant between the M1 and the A38, is ideal for visitors from near and far.'

I suppose the location allows a quick 'get away from it all' when it all goes pear shape!

The podium has a Tuckwell theme to it and with both in the field could it be three in a row?

A.T. will be looking to bow out of the season in style: a heavy holiday schedule during the latter part of the year conflicting with the tour. But would certainly offer more value than Tuckwell Junior value with a comfortable handicap mark, even though school's out for Junior.

2005 saw Tuckwell Jnr (37) scoop his maiden tour victory, joined by A.T. (34) and J. Brown (34) as the course offered up a miserly average of 30.9 points (7th out of 12 in difficulty)

In 2006 it was the turn of A.T. (33) serving up the 3rd of his 5 tour wins that season, which saw him cut to 5 in the process. Hepburn (32) and Hefter (32) managed to sneak into the each way places. 29 was the average points score - 8th of 14 in difficulty.

18 points round the front 9 is the record: S. Tuckwell ('05) A. Tuckwell ('06) M. Hefter ('06) 19 points is the back 9 record: S. Tuckwell ('05). With S. Tuckwell holding the TGS course record of 37 points ('05)

History shows Morley is not one for a bumper points score but with no one taking the initiative the claret jug is all to play for.

A.T, Tuckwell Jnr, Horsburgh Jnr, Hefter, Hood, Meadows, Hoenigmann, Jenkinson, Radford, Marriot +1, Baker Snr, Daft, Whitfield are all confirmed.

Meadows must be in with a shout. 3 consecutive rounds under 30 has seen the handicap mark drift up to 14, whereas the Stanton handicap is down to 11 after winning Captain's Day - 45 points better ball stableford.

Horsburgh Jnr will be looking to post a sizeable mark with some consistent scores in the bag already. Daft will be looking for a return to form after one of the best rounds of the season so far at Beedles Lake.

It's all to play for.
