Around the World with Vin

With the clubs shelved for the Winter, attention turns the International Man of Mystery that is Mr Neil 'Vin' Tuckwell, to keep us entertained. Embarking on yet another world adventure follow the globetrotter as he hits the interesting sights and 'wildlife' of Central America and India.
Part I
'Out of Mexico city. Had a great last evening in The Red House, a big dinner party for day of the dead. 30 interesting folks, mostly American and mostly gay. Good food and wine. Nearly messed up our flight times. We thought we flew at 9pm. Just about to head out for the day at 11am and noticed we flew at 4. Made it in fine time. Flew into Merida last night. Got into the travelling vibe flagging down a bus on the nearby motorway and a hike across town to the Hotel Becil. Lovely place, a big dance in the town square. Much more like it. Mexico City a place to be forgotten I think. Went off to a great Mayan Ruin called Uxmal today, really amazing got some great photos hour and a half from Merida, Pyrmids, High priest chambers, emormous Iguanas everywhere, Vultures circling. Off to Tulum early in the morning.
Not resting on Laurels.
Keeping moving.'
